Our Projects

As FKGAL Aviation, we aim to reveal the potential of young people in Turkey in the field of aviation and to produce projects that have a say at the global level. As a student-based organization, we carry out studies that will contribute to society and science by bringing together engineering, technology and innovation.

Our aircraft, which was developed with a completely original design, has no ready-made connection elements, carbon fiber pipes/plates or plastic parts. The vehicle, which has a rotary wing structure, is in quadcopter configuration.

Main Features
  • Diagonal motor spacing: ~110 cm

  • Dimensions (W x L x H): ~80 cm x ~80 cm x ~70 cm

  • Propeller radius: ~30 cm

Critical Parts
  • Defense industry standard 7000 series aluminum parts were specially produced on 5-axis CNC machines by our sponsor ORSAV.

Energy and Propulsion System

  • Engine: Hobbywing X6 Plus

  • Propeller: 26 inches

  • Battery: 2 x 6S 32,000 mAh LiPo

  • Estimated total thrust: 38,000g

Mechanical Structure
  • M4 and M10 screws were used in the body connection.

  • All nuts are selected as fiber-filled for safety purposes.

  • Construction materials: 30x27mm carbon fiber tubes & 2mm carbon fiber plates

Flight Features

  • Autonomous flight capability on planned route

  • Image processing based target detection and autonomous payload release system

  • Fully autonomous take-off and landing capability

  • 40+ minutes flight time

Avionic Structure

  • Cameras: There are 3 cameras on the vehicle for 3 different purposes.

  • Flight computer: ArduPilot Cube Orange Plus was used as the flight computer.

Dönence: 360°  Model

The fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle developed within the scope of our project is designed for a wide range of mission scenarios with its high thrust capacity and optimized energy system.
